Due to promotion and success, we are recruiting 2 Customer Service Advisors, within the insurance industry, to join a small team in Sheffield. 97% of the customers are repeat/retained business as the emphasis is quality over quantity. This company champions a personal approach to its clients. You will be working with customers who would rather speak to a human being rather than fill in forms online, so, clearly, we are looking for candidates with patience, integrity and excellent communication skills.

After your initial training, typical duties will look like this:

  • 70% of the day taking in bound calls from our customers (this is not a call centre) in regard to motor insurance
  • Using your superb customer service skills and the world-class training you have received, you will then be providing a quote
  • Working with your customers to make sure all the details are correct and that the quote is suitable and affordable
  • Building relationships so you are able to offer insurance for other parts of their lives (holiday/house/pets etc)
  • Helping customers change/add drivers to their policies
  • Twice a week, you will spend an hour reconnecting with customers and making appointments for them with a financial advisor

This is a customer service role. There are no sales targets, it is all about relationships and keeping the customer happy.

This is not a stop gap position. We are looking for candidates that really want to forge a career within a reputable company, gain qualifications if that is what they want to do (it is not compulsory), and who want to constantly strive to be the best.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:-

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with initiative. Organised, a great timekeeper and driven to provide excellent customer service. You will possess good IT skills to use Microsoft Office & Dynamics.

Preferably a vehicle driver/owner due to location (very close to motorway links)

  • 25 days holiday plus stats
  • Free parking (not based in the city centre)
  • 1 day working from home after 6 months
  • 37.5 hours a week, Mon - Fri 9 until 5
  • Option to purchase an additional 5-days of holiday a year
