Conveyancing Case Handler

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Case Handler to join the team in Kettering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience and will be responsible for managing their own caseload of sale and purchase files. This role requires excellent communication skills to maintain our high level of client service and partner relations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the entire conveyancing process for sales, from instruction to completion, including issuing draft contract papers, dealing with Freehold and Leasehold enquiries, and exchanging contracts.
- Run a purchase file from instruction to completion under supervision.
- Check and report on all search results, identify any issues, and raise these with sellers' conveyancers.
- Review Mortgage Offers and report to clients.
- Ensure compliance with Anti Money Laundering Regulations by checking clients' source of funds.
- Prepare client completion statements and set up account packs for completion.
- Maintain orderly files, keep checklists up to date, and issue regular update reports to introducers.
- Manage workloads effectively using a diary system and support staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a conveyancing role managing your own caseload.
- Legal qualification (e.g., CLC License, Law Degree, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency in relevant software and case management systems.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
