Energy Manager - Facilities Management - Mobile (Hull and Lincoln) - £59,860 inclusive of car allowance plus excellent benefits

This company, a National player in the FM world, require an Energy Manager to be based at their world class client's sites based in the Hull and Lincoln area. Salary: £59,860k inclusive of car allowance plus excellent benefits

Location: Mobile Hull/Lincoln

Suitable for candidates living in Lincoln, Doncaster, Hull, Sheffield and Leeds

Hours of Work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and promote corporate energy strategy, in line with business needs.
  • Promote Energy saving solutions and manage Energy related topics.
  • Develop Energy awareness campaigns and advise on energy strategy/solutions, developing these into working projects.
  • Provide full feasibility studies of costed initiatives / projects to reduce energy usage.
  • Provide monitoring and verification through the full cycle of the project to achieve cost and energy efficient solutions.
  • Implement and maintain processes and procedures to achieve economic cost in use.
  • Carry out macro Energy audits, making recommendations for change and implementing such changes.
  • Maintain compliance with all energy regulations, consider all renewable technologies possible to deliver on appropriate Carbon reduction plan for the Client.

The successful candidate:

  • Educated to at least HNC / HND standard (or equivalent) in a relevant hard services discipline is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrable experience in asset management, lifecycle management, customer service and change management activities/fields.
  • Good IT skills including a good working knowledge of MS Office 365 applications combined with a detailed understanding and appreciation of CMMS / CAFM systems or similar.
  • Thorough understanding of data analysis techniques, MS Excel, Sequel data bases and MS Access.
  • An appreciation of corporate real estate and property management, desired.
  • Professional membership of one or more of the following: IAM, IET, CIBSE, BIFM, IFMA, RICS or other, desired. Experience of best practice standards including BSRIA Business-Focused Maintenance and ISO 55001.
