Role Summary:
We are seeking a Head of Equipment Resources to manage the Equipment Coordination Team and oversee all aspects of equipment resource scheduling. This vital role involves working closely with the Director of Operations and various departments to ensure efficient resource allocation across multiple high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Equipment Coordination Team, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient planning.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager to streamline job preparation, third-party hires, and shipping requirements.
- Lead the implementation and development of an asset tracking system.
- Act as the main contact for third-party equipment suppliers, negotiating rates and securing resources.
- Coordinate with global counterparts to manage resource allocation.
- Work with commercial and technical project management teams on resource planning.
- Provide out-of-hours support for urgent equipment issues.
- Manage team schedules, including holidays and sickness.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record in team management and leadership.
- Experience in resource allocation and planning, ideally in equipment hire or broadcast asset management.
- Proficiency with asset tracking software and systems.
- Knowledge of international shipping requirements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to business needs.
