We are delighted to be working alongside one of the UK's biggest plastic suppliers who are looking to recruit a machine operator.
This will be a good opportunity to join a business that invests well in their staff and become trained across a number of different machinery.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of operating either a CNC machine, band saw or table saw but this is not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and keep the?beam?saw clean and in good working order
- Follow the process, identify material and label?accurately?to?ensure?traceability
- Label off cuts and accurately update Excel stock sheet on laptop
- General warehouse duties
- Operating a table saw, x cut and?hand tools?is desirable
- Cutting different types of plastic, wood and aluminium
- Working?effectively?with?warehouse/goods in?to prioritise workload
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- Using measuring equipment to check sheet dimensions
- Experience working in a production / manufacturing environment
- Experience in cutting large volumes of materials and?nesting?to?maximize?sheet yields
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 18:30 Friday 08:00 to 17:30.
