Part Time HR Lead / Senior HR Officer - 3 days a week

We are reciting for an Part time interim HR Lead/Senior HR Officer for a woman's charity .. You will be running all aspects of the HR function but also advising on improving HR, People and Culture processes and systems.

Part time 3 days a week , hybrid working 2 days in the office

The Role
Lead and deliver effective end-to-end recruitment, including grading JDs (in line with our pay policy) & on-boarding and leavers procedures
Improve and streamline inductions where possible improve employee experience contributing to high performance, collaborative and empowering culture.
Manage and organise accurate employee records; Ensure employee personnel files are kept up to date in line with all policies and procedures, including annual leave, sick leave, contracts, references etc
Act as admin user for BRITE HR
Payroll support - calculating starters, movers, leavers and salary band progression etc
Providing systematic HR and ad hoc HR advice
Improving HR templates (e.g. contracts etc) in line with good practice
Advising on salary Benchmarking and pay progressions including good practice for a future improved system
Advising on improving the appraisal process, 360 degree feedback etc for 2025 rollout
Advising on introducing a new competencies framework including alignment with our values for 2025 rollout
Advise and support around DE&I, learning culture and safeguarding

The Candidate
Experienced HR professional, CIPD qualification (level 3 minimum ideally)
Experience of all operational and strategic HR and People Management and all processes associated with employee management, recruitment, pay including benchmarking
Experience in developing and improving appraisal process, values and competency development
Experience in human resource policy development and implementation
Previous experience in a charity
Excellent administrative skills and an eye for detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast paced organisation; be a self-starter and to quickly assess the HR priorities and needs of the organisation
