Location: Feltham
Salary: Circa £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Package: 30 days holiday (inc BH), Pension Scheme, Parking and more.

About the Role:
Syntech Recruitment are partnered with a prestigious manufacturing company renowned for its high-precision components in the Motorsport and Aerospace sectors. We are on the lookout for an experienced CNC Programmer who thrives in a high-quality, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision Engineering: Program, set, and operate 3-axis mills and 2-axis Lathe's.
  • CNC Programming: Manually write and edit CNC programs at the machine, including all aspects of setup-material selection, tooling, speeds, and feeds.
  • Offline Programming: Proficient with CADCAM packages such as Hyper Mill (other packages will be considered)
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
  • Parts Production: Produce low to medium volume precision parts from various metals, working from raw castings, billets, and bar feeds.
  • Jigs and Fixtures: Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures as required.
  • Inventory Management: Manage raw stock and tooling, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee machine maintenance.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive manufacturing packs for repeat jobs to ensure consistency.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including daily inspection and cleaning of milling machines and tooling.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to the company's health and safety protocols and complete mandatory training.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive CNC Milling and Turning machining.
  • Proficiency in programming, setting, and operating CNC mills and lathes.
  • Strong experience in precision engineering, with a focus on maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards accurately.
  • Hands-on experience with Doosan and HAAS lathes.
  • Fanuc programming
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced machine shop environment.
  • Self-motivated, quality-driven, with a strong work ethic.
