They are seeking a Accounts Assistant to join a growing team in the Accounting & Finance department in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, assisting with financial operations, and supporting the finance team.

Description

As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Processing invoices and reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
  • Providing support to the finance team and wider business
  • Handling and resolving finance-related queries
  • Participating in the month-end accounting process
  • Assisting in the implementation of finance systems and processes
  • Maintaining confidentiality of organisational information

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • Experience in a similar finance role
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • An understanding of financial regulations and legislation
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
