Are you a Maintenance Supervisor/Team Leader looking to make a step up? or a seasoned Maintenance Manager looking for a new challenge?
This role is oversee a team of operational maintenance engineers, ensuring that our plant operates at the required level. The role involves effective planning, coordination of onsite activity, and ensuring plant reliability. You will work closely with senior engineering and other leadership members to meet supplier/customer requirements, understand plant performance, and drive improvements.
Day to Day of the role:
- Lead the safe and compliant execution of all maintenance and operational activities in line with company policies and procedures.
- Provide effective KPI reporting to monitor and enhance safety, quality, and performance.
- Drive improvements in maintenance operations and support plant productivity and quality goals.
- Manage and plan maintenance schedules and resources to maintain high plant availability.
- Collaborate with leaders to optimise operational business with a focus on QHSE, costs, maintenance, downtime, and resource management.
- Standardise and document workflows, embedding a customer-focused continuous improvement culture within the maintenance and production teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new technology and machinery.
- Ensure the availability of spare parts and critical assets for the plant.
- Offer support and cover for key team members and perform other duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Higher level education/degree equivalent.
- Experience in the Waste/production/Manufacturing experience is essential.
- Knowledge in Managing Safety/IOSH etc.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
