Financial Controller | Antrim | Contract | URGENT!

Our Antrim-based construction client urgently requires the support of a commercially experienced Financial Controller to cover a period of planned absence.
The role: Working closely with the Finance Director and stakeholders to maintain the day-to-day financial administration and the development of the corporate strategy, key responsibilities include;
- Provide strong commercial input and support on a range of strategic and operational issues
- Provide financial direction to the Senior Management Team and Commercial Team
- Compile timely and reliable month and year end closing data in line with company reporting deadlines
- Provide comprehensive and effective financial management including, managing cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing contract cashflows
- Compile required data for budget and forecast
- Preparation and submission of all tax requirements including PAYE, CIS, VAT and Corporation Tax
- Review and maintain effective controls and reporting mechanisms
- Ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting. Ownership of year end audit.
- Develop strong working relationships with customers and sub-contractors
- Lead or play a proactive part in special project as required
- Bring an added-value dimension by identifying operating efficiencies and promoting continual improvements
About you: Fully qualified Accountant. (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) | Proven management experience in a commercial environment | Experience of presenting financial information at senior level | Proven experience of effective planning and organisation skills | Excellent IT skills | Preferably with construction & ERP experience
