Overview of an IT Support Officer:
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within London Borough of Harrow for a self-driven and motivated IT Support Officer to join an expanding team. The role of an IT Support Officer has a competitive pay rate of £17.94 PAYE.
The Main Purpose of an IT Support Officer:
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and peripherals
- Monitor and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems
- Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolution to IT-related problems
- System Updates: Implement new system releases and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to users
- Ensure secure and controlled access to systems and maintain data integrity
- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software using software tools
- Utilize software tools to automate processes and improve efficiency
About you, the successful IT Support Officer will have to:
- Excel at resolving technical issues with a methodical and organized approach.
- Be capable of analysing diverse and extensive data to make appropriate recommendations for necessary actions.
- Be able to manage your own workload and adjust priorities according to the changing work environment.
