Our client is a leader in the Healthcare sector and is looking for a dynamic and experienced Brand and Communications Manager to lead their brand communication strategies and initiatives across the UK, Europe and the US. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive communication plans that enhance brand visibility, reputation, and engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, capable of managing internal stakeholders and external agencies.

The Brand and Communications Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of brand communication, including public relations, social media, content creation and events. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the latest communication trends and technologies and be able to leverage them to achieve brand objectives. This role demands a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The Brand and Communications Manager will also be responsible for measuring the effectiveness of communication strategies and making data-driven decisions to optimize performance. Key responsibilities:

Communications

  • Develop and deliver creative marketing and communications strategies and campaigns to help drive customer retention and support new customer acquisition.
  • Oversee development of service user facing content, including producing content and commissioning third parties where necessary
  • Management of website content
  • Lead the creation and distribution of engaging content across various channels.
  • Manage the brand's social media presence and strategy.
  • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand communication strategies.
  • Oversee all public relations activities and manage media relations.
  • Manage the Brand and communications budget.
  • Management and oversight of third-party marketing/branding/design and comms agencies
  • Ownership of social media strategy
  • Develop and oversee a strategic programme of activities and events.
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials and collateral.
  • Provide regular reports on communication activities and outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in communication processes and practices.

Brand

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for brand partnerships and collaborations.
  • Coordinate and manage brand events and campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Ensure all communication materials align with brand guidelines.
  • Handle crisis communication and manage brand reputation.

Stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Work with local partners to promote services where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with clinical teams and medical directors to support the production of white papers, abstracts and research publications.

New Business Development

  • Contribute to the overall development of the commercial strategy.
  • Contribute to new product and service developments ensuring brand messaging, tone of voice and user experience are incorporated through the design and development phase.
  • Contribute to and shape the content of tenders to include the key business messages and tone of voice.

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in communications, brand management and campaign management
  • Experience of working across Sexual Health services highly desirable.
  • Experience of working with NHS and commissioning highly desirable
  • Experience of working internationally desirable but not essential
  • PR and events management experience
