CAD/CAM Programmer
- Location: Hutton, Brentwood, Essex
- Working a 4-day week (39 hours): 7.00am - 5.15pm
- Choice of Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday
- Salary Guide: to £42,500 pa.
Due to continued growth and an increasing order book, this leading, respected manufacturer and supplier of precision engineering products is seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer to write offline CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Duties:
- Write offline CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
- Working along with CNC Millers to create programs to make sure components can be manufactured accurately and efficiently.
- Assessing jobs and liaising with colleagues to make sure suitable tooling is in place for work commencing.
Requirements
- Ability to write offline CNC programs using CAD/CAM software ideally OneCNC but experience on any other relevant software e.g. Edgecam, Mastercam would be considered.
- Candidates must have significant experience of CAD/CAM programming of 3 & 4 Axis machines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with the ability to work well with colleagues.
