Social Worker - Children with Disability Team
Location: Carlisle
Pay Rate: £50 per hour

Role and Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Support: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families, and provide ongoing support.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Advocacy: Act as an advocate for children with disabilities, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.
- Collaboration: Work closely with health care professionals, educational staff, and community organisations to coordinate and deliver holistic care.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to children and families in urgent situations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration
- Experience working with children with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
