: Full time (37 hours per week)

Enhanced Annual Leave:

Are you looking for an exciting and varied role where you will be responsible for coordinating first line service desk support by providing a single point of contact for all users of the councils' business applications? Where you will be acting as an interface to the IT & Digital service including management of escalations? Where you will be helping to develop staff through coaching and supporting members of the team?

Are you qualified to ITIL Foundation Level? Do you have proven experience of supporting ICT business applications in a large organisation, assisting customers over the phone and online using remote support tools?

  • Responsible for managing a staff rota of Service Delivery Team to ensure service cover and availability to provide a single day-to-day point of contact for customers.
  • Ensuring documentation is maintained to ensure customers receive a consistent service and that incidents and requests are resolved efficiently.
  • Acting as a mentor for all Service Delivery Team staff.
  • Escalating requests to other IT & Digital staff or external suppliers as required and maintaining accurate records of progress.
  • Adopting industry best practice for ICT service management (ITIL) and promoting and delivering continuous service improvement.
