Internal Sales Executive

Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive for a well-known business in Birmingham.

The Internal Sales Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new, existing and lapsed clients to increase sales revenue and generate future pipeline. You will be making outbound calls to develop leads and your pipeline, using a database to log and plan your diary.

You will be working as part of an established Internal Account Management team, alongside the External Sales team and Sales Support team, you will be working towards a team annual budget and target, broken down where there is opportunity to earn monthly and quarterly bonuses.

This company have been established for 30 years and are a market leader in their industry.

This is an office based role, where you will be expected to come into the office Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities & day to day duties

  • Work to agreed KPIs and targets, striving to achieve budgeted sales and margin levels.
  • Support external Area Sales Managers to grow larger accounts, and provide any support as needed
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, attending to any customer needs promptly and professionally, always looking for opportunities to maximise sales
  • Possess and maintain an appropriate level of technical product knowledge to effectively interpret customer requirements and present solutions.
  • Actively seek opportunities to broaden the customer base and explore new routes to market, maintaining commercial awareness across your geographical patch

Skills & experience required.

As an Internal Sales Executive, we are looking for someone with the following experience:

  • A Proven track record in B2B outbound sales, account management or internal sales
  • Experience managing a territory or a portfolio of accounts
  • Experience selling into distributors but also building partnerships with end users.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with other internal account managers, field sales managers and other stakeholders within the organisation

Benefits

  • Salary of up to £27,000
  • Monthly commission structure

  • Hours 0900 – 1730 but some flexibility if needed
