The Role
Phoenix Collegiate has a dedicated team of internal Cover Supervisors because we understand that having trained professionals who are committed to the school's values and can consistently maintain high standards is the best approach for our students.
Cover Supervisors will handle a variety of cover and support duties in a dynamic school environment, managing both planned and last-minute teaching absences while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Phoenix Collegiate is a diverse secondary school for students aged 11-19, serving over 1,900 students in North West Bromwich, near the Walsall border.
Since its opening in September 2010, following the merger of two local schools, Phoenix has quickly become one of the top-performing schools in the area.
The Training
Hays Education has teamed up with Phoenix Collegiate to offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on school experience and receive free training as a Cover Supervisor. Candidates must be available for a three-day training session on Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th, and Thursday 12th December 2024. Completing the training could lead to permanent job opportunities at Phoenix Collegiate or temporary positions at other local schools.
