We are looking for a talented Management Accountant to join a thriving manufacturing organisation, based in Southampton.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Production of management accounts – P&L, balancesheet, cost of sales, margin analysis and CAPEX
- Reporting on variances and providing commentary alongside accounts
- Intercompany and balancesheet reconciliations
- Inventory reporting, circa £4m
- Month end journal postings, accruals and prepayments
- Accurate calculation and forecasting for depreciating assets
- Support across a range of internal projects
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager / Finance Analyst / Assistant Management Accountant
- Experience within a manufacturing business would be beneficial
- Strong working knowledge of Excel – intermediate to advanced
- A desire to develop and grow in the role and get involved with new projects and tasks
