YOU MUST HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A BID FUNCTION AS A COORDINATOR/EDITOR/WRITER ETC.

An exciting opportunity to join a global Engineering firm in London.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing Services to develop proposal documents, with impactful messaging.

You must have strong design and written skills and understand the bid process.

THE ROLE:

    • Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies through capture planning for upcoming project opportunities
  • Follows established processes to develop and deliver high quality, client focused proposal.

  • Coordinates project/bid, analysing tender documents to define client requirements, deliverables, set deadlines and owners.

  • Gathers and issues any clarifications required to the client.

  • Develop persuasive proposals and interview materials

  • Develop and manage proposal work plans and schedules and confirm compliance to RFP documents

  • Engage the appropriate technical resources when required for each job that comes in

  • Lead quality reviews of proposal and interview materials

  • Be a part of select go/no-go decision process in accordance with Matrix of Authority

  • Support development and implementation of client development plans, including long-term strategies to capture market share

  • Coach interview teams to be effective at delivering key messages during interview presentations or client meetings

  • Facilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitiveness

  • Support creation of marketing collateral to support business development efforts

  • Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices

  • Articulate the clients capabilities and competitive advantages

  • Proofs/copies edit responses to ensure compliant, compelling, benefits-driven copy.

  • Ensures all required reviews and adjudication/sign-offs are achieved

  • Coordinates the creation of additional supporting content – printed models/video/large-format printing/presentations.

  • Facilitates, records and shares lessons learnt/best practice.

  • Supports improvement activities and projects which may be focused on improving work winning team performance, or competence and capability.

THE PERSON:

    • A minimum of 3 years relevant Bid/Proposals experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign

  • Deep knowledge of the industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services

  • Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight

  • Experience in developing effective win strategies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
