Test Manager - (Test, Testing, Automation, C#, Java, Selenium, Coding, Management, Strategy, BDD, Hands on, Remote) - Permanent - Remote
Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Test Manager on a permanent basis for our national business based in Central Manchester.
This is a fully remote role, with travel to the office once or twice a year.
Due to the nature of the position, all candidates must be either British or have ILR in order to qualify for SC Clearance.
Location: Remote
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum
Skills/Requirements for the Test Manager:
- Previous experience within a similar role is vital
- Extensive hands on coding within C# or Java
- Experience of managing teams of up to 10 people
- Strong automation experience using ideally Selenium
- Ability to drive strategy and scope for the team and business long term
Start date is ASAP for the Test Manager
The Test Manager will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing a test strategy that is fit for purpose across all areas
- Implementing, managing and delivering automation test packs and projects along with your team, using your technical skills.
- Delivering your implementations from start to finish and promote them in order to support current products in production.
- Take ownership of the testing field and ensure all areas are documented, consistent and organised.
- Ensuring that the code written for tests is consistent, stable, performant, readable and maintainable.
- Collaborating with product stakeholders and other members of the team to scope and estimate optimal solutions for business problems.
