Our client in Trafford Park is seeking a Logistics Coordinator (Sea Freight) to ensure the smooth transportation of all export and UK orders, providing top-notch service to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with production planning for timely order processing
- Arrange shipment in compliance with transport restrictions
- Prepare and issue picking notes and export pallet labels
- Ensure compliance of hazardous cargo shipping
- Inform internal customers of shipment details
- Promptly dispatch all required export documentation
- Obtain and check freight quotes and invoices
- Assist in preparing monthly sales analysis for customers
Requirements:
- Experience in sea freight logistics
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in preparing export documentation
- Capability to obtain and compare freight quotes
- Adaptability to perform varied duties as directed
Hours: Mon - Fri (37.5hrs)
Location: Trafford Park (Office based)
