Salary - £11,000 PER ANNUM (£35K EQUIVALENT FULL TIME)

Hours – 15 HOURS PER WEEK OVER 2 OR 3 DAYS FLEXIBLE

The Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing all elements of ISI regulatory compliance at the school, including education, welfare, safeguarding, suitability of staff, premises and provision of information. This is a part-time role and the Compliance Officer will be expected to liaise widely with relevant members of staff and will report directly to the Bursar.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following:
? Degree level education
? Knowledge of Health and Safety and Risk Assessments
? Excellent planning and organisational skills
? Excellent attention to detail
? Ability to work autonomously and flexibly
? Previous experience of working in a school or educational environment
? The ability to interpret legislation and other laid down procedures and be able to explain the requirements in simple, practical terms to non-specialists
? Previous experience covering commercial compliance issues
? The ability to think ahead and draw up schedules of review and follow-up, as necessary
? Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues, both teaching and non-teaching
? Confidence with the use of ICT
? Excellent administrative skills
