You will work directly under the International COO as the Business Manager and play a key role in advancing performance and operational excellence. You will be a key player in the implementation and management of operational projects and will work closely with senior stakeholders, such as the Head of Group Operations to formulate operational strategy. Role Responsibilities:
- Assist the International COO in the assessment and formulation of the organisation's operational strategy.
- Inform and lead the delivery of operational projects, including those related to the company's growth targets and M&A activities.
- Support the design and implementation of an international target operating model in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Evaluate and propose operational projects that enhance work processes and working environments.
- Analyse and recommend improvements to business practises, processes, and governance.
- Prepare internal and external presentations, contributing to the organisation's thought leadership.
- Manage the performance of direct reports, ensuring clear objectives, regular performance reviews, and feedback.
- Provide leadership, management, and development opportunities to direct reports, fostering their skills and competencies.
Experience:
- Experience working with international businesses is desirable.
- Experience in the Insurance industry is advantageous.
- CII qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across various business areas.
- Track record of involvement in continuous improvement projects.
- Willingness to travel internationally is essential.
- Working knowledge of international regulatory frameworks or the FCA regulatory environment.
- Language skills are desirable but not essential.
