Help us support children and young adults aged 5 to 19 in overcoming communication challenges associated with Autism spectrum conditions.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wilmslow, Cheshire East
Salary: £13.00 - £13.72 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time Only
Contract: Permanent and 12-month fixed-term contracts available

Your Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the students' educational journey. Your role will involve:
- Building supportive relationships with students, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
- Assisting in the delivery of a dynamic and individualised curriculum.
- Encouraging independence and managing behaviour in a nurturing manner.
- Adapting to the diverse needs of their SEN students with creativity and flexibility.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in SEN settings, whether professional or voluntary.
- Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English Level 3 or above, and a Level 3 qualification in Support work for Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- Skills: A strong understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures, along with adaptability, creativity, and a child-centric approach.
