Description

You will be joining a welcome and expanding team, and be a key hire for the finance team where your experience as a credit controller will not only be valued but will enable you to grow a long term career from within

Here is an overview of your responsibilities in your role :

  • Manage and continuously update customer records.
  • Review of ledger and customer accounts
  • Chasing outstanding balances
  • Investigating applicable fees
  • Taking direct payment over the phone
  • Using credit facilities
  • Adjusting and cancelling policies to settle the outstanding policy holder's balance.
  • Liaise with insurers to get the premiums.
  • Running age debt for 30, 60 and 90 days before sending 7-day letter reminders.
  • Provide a weekly update to management on cleared settlements and confirmed payments.
  • Set up payment plans.
  • Work towards tight deadlines.
  • · Complete high standard internal audits to adhere FCA regulations by ensuring recorded calls are compliant.
  • · Work alongside management and customer accounts team to implement more efficient processes and procedures to improve overall performance of Credit Control function
