Description
You will be joining a welcome and expanding team, and be a key hire for the finance team where your experience as a credit controller will not only be valued but will enable you to grow a long term career from within
Here is an overview of your responsibilities in your role :
- Manage and continuously update customer records.
- Review of ledger and customer accounts
- Chasing outstanding balances
- Investigating applicable fees
- Taking direct payment over the phone
- Using credit facilities
- Adjusting and cancelling policies to settle the outstanding policy holder's balance.
- Liaise with insurers to get the premiums.
- Running age debt for 30, 60 and 90 days before sending 7-day letter reminders.
- Provide a weekly update to management on cleared settlements and confirmed payments.
- Set up payment plans.
- Work towards tight deadlines.
- · Complete high standard internal audits to adhere FCA regulations by ensuring recorded calls are compliant.
- · Work alongside management and customer accounts team to implement more efficient processes and procedures to improve overall performance of Credit Control function
