Our Client have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. They are one of the UK's top construction companies seeking a suitable Senior Quantity Surveyor to enhance their high calibre commercial team. The work will involve challenging and exciting major refurbishment projects in the West Midlands such as a hospital regeneration scheme valued at £200 Million+

Job Overview:

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for maximising the commercial results of projects in terms of delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets. Assist with the management of the procurement of Sub-contractors, and their financial & contractual management. Support the preparing and agreeing Interim Valuations with the Client & for progressing the agreement of Variations as the work proceeds utilising company tools. Collaborating with the Project Manager and other members of the Project team.

Requirements

Hospital/Healthcare build sector experience

A minimum of 7-10 Years proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main/principle contractor

Preparing timely monthly financial reports which accurately forecast net margin & activity utilising the company tools, procedures & rules

Good commercial awareness

Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work

Demonstrate a solid understand/management of company reporting timetables, as well as key tools & procedures

Design management and value engineering

Sub-contract & consultant procurement

Sub-contract & consultant management

Client account management

Management of graduate and assistant surveyors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £65,000.00-£69,000.00 per year
