Pertemps Daventry are recruiting Assistant Graphic Designer /Artworker for a established engineering company that has been based in Daventry for over 50 years.
Full Time - Permanent Based Office
Hours 8.30am - 17:00pm
Monday to Friday
Key Duties:
- Creating artwork for product materials such as packaging, box labels and assembly manuals.
- Creating a range of different marketing materials such as spec sheets and catalogues.
- Creating digital content for use online
- Adding and updating website content
- Editing product and lifestyle images
- Adding translated content to existing artwork files
- Using company database files with information
- Assisting with the organisation and preparation of company events and exhibitions.
- Assisting with the upkeep of physical and digital content
- Providing support to the Sales team and customers by supplying content when requested.
- Assisting in marketing team group projects
- Administrative or written task as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Solidworks with Render Software Essential
- Animation , Video editing and rendering Essential
- Comfortable using PC and Windows OS
- Experience in using MailChimp for email campaign creation and reporting.
- Copywriting skills
- Experince in using website content managements systems.
- Confidential user of Adobe Creative suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.
- Creative thinker with a Good "Artists Eye"
- Understanding the creative process, from concept through to artwork completion.
- Ability to work with a pro-active approach to independently identify and complete tasks
- Excellent written English spelling and grammar skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable using household tools such as screwdrivers and Allen keys
- Someone who can think outside the box.
- Previous Experience in a design or Art working role or a relevant qualification.
A Portfolio is required if you are successful.
