The Head of People will provide strategic leadership to the Human Resources department in a bustling, high pace environment. The successful candidate will drive initiatives that cultivate an environment that promotes company culture, values, and performance.

Description

  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
  • Partnering a division with in excess of 7000 employees.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Design company policies and procedures
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process

Profile

A successful Head of People should have:

  • Demonstrable experience in human resources
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Experience of partnering a large (7000) workforce at an operational and strategic level.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
