Reed is partnering with a global consultancy in seeking a proactive and experienced Business Analyst to join their Group Finance team. This role is pivotal to their success, focusing on designing, developing, and documenting processes and controls. You will work closely with senior finance employees to help achieve their financial goals and ensure the integrity of their financial systems.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Maintain and document processes using Microsoft Visio.
  • Support the Business Central Administrator by writing test scripts and testing new functionality in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Manage finance change requests and oversee their implementation in Business Central.
  • Collaborate with key Finance business stakeholders to understand challenges and new business requirements.
  • Propose improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Guarantee data integrity within the Business Central system.
  • Communicate process changes to the business, including leading workshops to share best practices and train on changes or new functionalities in Business Central.
  • Adapt to evolving tasks and responsibilities in line with the company's strategy and growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst role, preferably with interactions with Finance Teams.
  • Proactive in recommending process improvements and business changes.
  • Experience with accounting software processes, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective at building relationships and communicating with team members across the organisation.
  • Confident in project management and driving completion of projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with accounting and reporting software.
