You'll play a vital part in keeping complex, high-output production lines running smoothly — reacting quickly to breakdowns and applying robust preventative maintenance strategies.
Skills required for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Electrical & mechanical competency – proven experience in fault-finding and repair
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Fault-find and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems: belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, bearings
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems: single/three-phase, PLCs (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens S7), inverters, and safety relays
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Provide thorough handover communication to ensure seamless shift transitions
- Comfortable working on motors, sensors, drives, bearings, belts, and chains
