Part time Legal Cashier
Leeds City Centre
Salary: £30,500 pro rata
Hours 9-5.00pm Monday to Wednesday
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 1 day from home

Our client is an established law firm in Leeds City Centre and they are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their team on a part time basis. We are looking for someone with solid legal cashier experience, strong attention to detail and numerical skills and good communication skills.

The role will involve:

Legal Cashiering duties ensuring compliance with regulations

Online banking and bank Reconciliations

Managing the accounts system

Supporting in the client billing process - raising bills

Disbursements
-
Client deposits
-
Processing payments for clients using credit card

Cheques and cash banking
-
Investigating ledgers
-
Managing an inbox - monitoring requests
-
Dealing with enquiries - phone, face to face - internally people with queries

Liaising with fee earners when receiving payments

Ensuring timely payments of invoices
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years Legal Cashier experience essential

Able to maintain efficient workload, diary and task management ensuring accuracy and levels of client service expected.

Be confident at liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Good IT skills are essential
