Our client, a leading defence and space systems organisation, are currently seeking talented Systems Engineers to join their dynamic team in Bristol.
Role Overview:
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and integration of cutting-edge defence and space systems. Utilising your expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and your comprehensive experience across the V-model, you will contribute to the delivery of complex projects that meet our client's rigorous standards and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply MBSE methodologies to support systems design, development, and integration.
- Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure system requirements are effectively translated into design and implementation.
- Participate in all phases of the system development lifecycle, demonstrating a strong understanding of the V-model.
- Contribute to the development of space systems, leveraging your knowledge to innovate and drive project success.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential Criteria:
- A UK national with the ability to obtain SC clearance (current holders preferred).
- Roughly 3-6 years of relevant experience in systems engineering within the defence sector.
- Demonstrable knowledge and practical application of MBSE techniques.
- Experience with the V-model in system development processes.
- A strong understanding of space systems and their operational requirements.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
