Our client is now looking to expand their trusts department with a 10 year plus qualified solicitor who is eager to build their career in this rewarding area of law.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our client's Wills & Probate team, specialising in trusts. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to take on the current caseload of trusts administration. You will work closely with experienced solicitors and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive advice to Trusts Administration matters.
  • Advising on inheritance tax planning and trusts.
  • Managing a caseload of clients with varying needs, ensuring high standards of client care.
  • Conducting meetings with clients, taking detailed instructions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties such as financial institutions and HMRC.
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in the law and best practices in Wills & Probate.

Requirements:

  • 10 years + with a valid practising certificate.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on Trust law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing a high standard of client care.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a Private Client department, either during training or through paralegal work.
  • Knowledge of inheritance tax planning and trust administration.
