Robertson Bell are proud to once again be working with this recognisable international development charity whilst they recruit for an International Finance Business Partner on a nine-month fixed term contract. This role will be responsible for driving and supporting some key stakeholders in their most impactful partnership programme, whilst they are going through an exciting period of change. The key duties of this International Finance Business Partner are as follows:

  • Provide strategic financial decision support to business areas for strong financial performance.
  • Deliver monthly financial reports and support performance reviews.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, offering analysis and challenges.
  • Create financial models and support business cases for investment.
  • Track project spending and ensure value for money.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, statutory accounting, tax, and legal requirements.
  • Build financial awareness among budget holders through effective communication.
  • Support period and year-end close processes, including financial analysis and reporting.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner with a passion for international development who is looking to make their first move into the sector, in a role that works closely with several high-profile programmes. The role is being offered on a fully remote basis, with travel only required to their London office a few times per year for team-building events.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a finance business partnering capacity.
  • Excellent budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience.
  • Ideally, experience working in a charitable environment, but this is not essential.
  • Exceptional commucnaitions and relationship building skills.
  • A curious mindset and be a self-starter.
