T Procurement Manager
- Organisation: South Yorkshire Local Authority
- Contract: Initial 4 months
- Day Rate: £500 per day (Umbrella / Inside IR35)
- Location: Remote (expected 1/2 day per month in-office working)
Reed are supporting a South Yorkshire Council in their recuitment to an IT Procurement Manager position. This role will suit a Procurement or Category manager with a strong understanding of IT category procurement, including knowledge of direct awards from frameworks such as Crown Commercial and G-Cloud.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Sourcing direct award options to maintain continuity with existing suppliers, primarily through call-offs from G-Cloud and Crown Commercial e-marketplace.
- Completing contract documentation and collaborating with clients to agree on requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with Procurement Regulations and frameworks.
- Managing both hardware and software procurement, with a focus on software.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT procurement within the Public Sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Procurement Regulations.
- Experience with Crown Commercial and G-Cloud frameworks for direct awards.
- Proficiency in managing both hardware and software procurement, with an emphasis on software.
