Dunbar Education is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner for a primary school based in Ampthill, Central Bedfordshire. They are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their team and make a difference in the early development of children.
Role Overview:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. You will implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop through play-based activities. Working collaboratively with a team of educators and parents, you will ensure each child's individual needs are met and their progress is monitored effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a range of activities that support children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
- Monitoring and recording children's progress, maintaining accurate developmental records.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a cohesive learning environment.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety policies.
Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting, implementing the EYFS framework.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing exceptional care.
- A deep understanding of child development and early years curriculum.
