Requirements: As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical expertise, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance is completed to the highest standards
- Troubleshooting within the hired bias (electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled)
- Guiding the Maintenance Technicians and supporting the Shift Manager with high level technical expertise
- Supporting continuous improvement at site and feedback ideas
This is a highly autonomous role where you will be working on high standard equipment in line with current legislation and all H&S procedures that are in place.
This role has a rotating shift pattern that covers days and nights.
For the successful Maintenance Engineer, we are looking for the following qualities:
- ONC/HNC, BTEC or NVQ L3+ in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in Conveyors, Sorters, Cranes or similar
- Knowledge of PLC/Controls systems
- Understanding of WCS/WMS or SCADA equivalent
- Self-motivated and able to work and motivate others
- Able to maintain effective professional working relationships
- Ability to work at height
