Have you been looking for your next Music teacher role at an Ofsted rated 'Good' school where there is a focus on all learners having the same opportunities regardless of their starting point?

If you said 'yes' to these questions, you currently have an amazing opportunity to work as a music teacher in a secondary school in PL3. The role would begin after Easter until the end of the academic year, with potential to become a permanent position if successful in the role.

Work hours are 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m, Monday to Friday. This is the perfect opportunity for those who have a genuine passion and desire to make the classroom a fun environment and make the students look forward to class each day.

The perfect candidate will:

  • Make an effort to provide every child with the best learning experience they could hope for.
  • Create a fun and engaging classroom experience where students are excited to attend lessons.
  • Implement your unique teaching style to effectively address a variety of student behaviours; you should be adaptable and flexible to ensure fairness in the classroom.
  • Establish a trustworthy and perceptive relationship with students where they see you as a role model and someone they can rely on.
  • The ability to communicate emotionally is essential for interactions in the classroom.
  • Classrooms may be stressful places, so it's important to be able to take a deep breath and determine how much help is needed to control tempers and diffuse situations. Be calm, patient, and understanding.

A candidate 'Must Have':

  • An enhanced DBS or be willing to get one (we will help with this!)
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK ? unfortunately we are unable to provide sponsorships
