Exciting Opportunity for an English Graduate!

Are you passionate about literature and eager to inspire the next generation? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Graduate to join our vibrant secondary school in Oxted starting this September.

Position: English Graduate (Full-Time)

Location: Oxted, Surrey

Start Date: September 2024

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging English Language & Literature lessons with the support of an excellent department.
  • Support students in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected.
  • Utilise diverse teaching methods and resources to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support student growth.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in English or a PGCE in Secondary Education (English).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm, adaptability, and a proactive approach to learning and teaching.
