Your new company is a well-established, market-leading National House Builder. With a healthy pipeline of work, they are looking to recruit a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team where the initial focus will be delivering a high-value Apartment project in Bristol.
Your new role
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of high-end residential projects. You'll oversee cost management, contract administration, and procurement activities. Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and contractors, you'll ensure successful delivery of the companies' developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reporting for residential projects
- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective cost control measures
- Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise project outcomes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as a Managing QS working at a National House builder / Main Contractor
- Experience using JCT / NEC forms of contract is essential.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering high-end residential projects.
- Strong procurement, budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills
- Excellent IT, analytical and negotiation skills
