Your new company is a well-established, market-leading National House Builder. With a healthy pipeline of work, they are looking to recruit a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team where the initial focus will be delivering a high-value Apartment project in Bristol.

Your new role
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of high-end residential projects. You'll oversee cost management, contract administration, and procurement activities. Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and contractors, you'll ensure successful delivery of the companies' developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reporting for residential projects
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement effective cost control measures
  • Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise project outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience as a Managing QS working at a National House builder / Main Contractor
  • Experience using JCT / NEC forms of contract is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering high-end residential projects.
  • Strong procurement, budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills
  • Excellent IT, analytical and negotiation skills
