Are you a senior experience designer who wants to make a difference?

We're expanding our Product & User Experience team and setting up multi-disciplinary pods so we can deliver digital services at scale. This is an exciting opportunity for a design leader with a passion for simple and accessible service design.

Clarion Housing Group is a business for social purpose and our mission is to provide homes for those who need them most. Our Housing Association serves 360,000 residents in 125,000 homes. Latimer our property development arm builds and sells thousands of homes each year.

As our Lead User Experience and User Interface designer you will:

  • Mentor and manage a small design team, setting up effective design practices.
  • Refine and relaunch our multi-brand design system to support re-platforming.
  • Research user needs and create artifacts that help stakeholders visualise problems.
  • Create prototypes and mock-ups to rally teams around early-stage concepts.
  • Design intuitive multi-channel service experiences for customers and staff.
  • Champion simple and accessible service experiences that work for everyone.
  • Work collaboratively with Product and Engineering teams in multi-disciplinary pods.

We're looking for a technologically literate designer who can engage with senior stakeholders, understand complex business problems, and help solve them with simple and elegant solutions. You'll use 'just enough research' to get to the right answer, and you'll relish the intricacies and data flows involved in multi-channel customer services. If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you!

With hybrid working and flexible working arrangements this could be the opportunity you've been looking for!
