My client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support across their business. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities including the development and implementation of HR projects, processes, and actions to enhance our human resource mission and objectives through strategic planning.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage ongoing employee-related cases across the group, including complex casework such as dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
  • Develop and apply HR policies and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
  • Support the recruitment process by writing job descriptions, interviewing, and shortlisting applicants.
  • Manage the company's Right to Work auditing process, including running monthly reports and arranging correspondence and meetings for out-of-date documents.
  • Carry out new starter inductions for all management and advise on probation reviews and performance management plans.
  • Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes, implementing changes where necessary.
  • Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
  • Support change management processes under TUPE and consultations.
  • Manage and maintain employee sickness analysis, creating return to work actions for long-term sickness absence, and monitor wellness records & sickness absence program.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of generalist HR experience.
  • Sound knowledge of Employment Law and its application.
  • Experience in handling a variety of ER casework.
  • Previous experience working within a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft packages.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to self-motivate and manage own workload.
  • Ability to handle information and issues sensitively and with discretion.
