Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating lessons that motivate and challenge Year 4 pupils.
- Provide a balanced curriculum focusing on both academic excellence and personal development.
- Prepare students for their end-of-key-stage assessments, ensuring high standards of progress and achievement.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child can thrive.
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance the learning experience.
- Participate actively in whole-school events, extra-curricular activities, and staff meetings.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Year 4 or Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- A genuine passion for developing children's confidence, resilience, and love for learning.
- Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards of behaviour.
- Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working with parents and the wider school community.
