Join a dynamic team within a UK-wide manufacturing business based in Runcorn. As the leader of their finance division, you will bring confidence, flair, and innovation to the table. This is more than just crunching numbers and generating reports-it's about inspiring your team and driving the business forward.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the Finance Team and guide daily activities and inspire your team to excel
  • Ownership of Ledgers - take full control of the AP and AR ledger, stock ledger, supplier statement reconciliation, and general ledger housekeeping.
  • Maintain the company's fixed asset register with precision.
  • Approve employee expense claims efficiently.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations like a pro.
  • Prepare Management Accounts and Balance Sheet reconciliations monthly.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial policies and control systems.
  • Keep product costings accurate and up-to-date.
  • Manage cash flow with expertise.
  • Handle payroll administration smoothly.
  • Submit quarterly VAT returns flawlessly.
  • Manage the yearly Statutory Audit and bi-annual stock takes.
  • Provide valuable support to other departments whenever needed.

What You Need:

Qualification - AAT Level 4.

Sage Savvy - Experience with Sage 200 is essential.

Tech Skills - Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
