Our client, a leading local government organisation, is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their dynamic and dedicated team. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to customers. This is an on-going temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience to all customers who contact the Customer Service Centre.
  • Gather required information through effective call control, questioning, and fact-finding, showing empathy and understanding to resolve or escalate, while accurately recording information in the appropriate IT systems.
  • Process contacts and signpost customers using available knowledge through service-specific IT systems and your training.
  • Offer courteous and fair treatment to all customers and identify and prioritise urgent contacts and respond promptly following the correct process for the service.
  • Embrace change and demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
  • Achieve individual and team objectives and key performance indicators.

Skills and requirements:

  • Experience working in a telephone-based Customer Service Centre.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to record information accurately and in a timely manner using electronic resources.
  • Ability to talk and type simultaneously to input information into service-specific IT systems.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday between 8AM-6PM after training.

Additional assignment details:

  • Full-time position of 37 hours per week.
  • Onsite role with training between 9AM-5PM.
  • Convenient office location in New Boultham, Lincoln, with nearby parking and excellent transport links.
