Your new role
They are looking to appoint an ambitious Finance Manager, reporting to the CFO, with exposure at Director level with key decision-making responsibilities. The role requires a hands-on Finance Manager, with experience operating in a dynamic SME environment, to complete the financial management for the business and oversee a small finance/admin team.
As a Finance Manager, you will fully own the cash flow forecasting process, oversee transactional processes and payroll, and ensure efficient month-end closures. You will produce and manage management accounts, handle journal postings and inter-company accounts, and prepare financial accounts for audit compliance. Additionally, you will analyse KPIs, collaborate with the management teams for future forecasting, and lead technical accounting projects. Your role also includes preparing and managing commercial contracts in collaboration with the COO and overseeing the contract management and invoicing.
What you'll need to succeed

  • You will be a qualified accountant with a proactive and positive approach, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • You will have proven experience of month-end and year-end, with an understanding of audit processes, ideally within a vibrant business where priorities can change quickly.
  • You will be keen to be part of a growing business with current expansion plans.
  • You will have good IT skills, including Excel, and experience of Xero would be useful, but it is not essential.
