Job Description
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our teachers and students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Providing individual and small group support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
- Supervising students during break times and school activities.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
- A level 2/3 TA qualification or solid experience working in schools/with children is desired but not essential.
