Finance Assistant

Resourcery Group are pleased to be partnering with a growing Multi Academy trust who are seeking an Interim Finance Assistant for one of their secondary schools. Reporting into a Qualified, professional and personable School Business Manager, the Finance Assistant will support all aspects of the finance function.

Duties:

Purchase ledger duties- matching, batching and coding invoices
Dealing with supplier queries
Oversee the ‘Parent Pay'
Allocation of cash
Reconciliation
Fortnightly payment runs via BACS
Collate payroll information
Data entry
Ad hoc duties

This post is initially an interim role but with the view to it being a permanent opportunity.

You will need:

AAT Qualification or nearing the end of AAT
Ability to start the assignment in the next week or so
Able to work on site 5 days per week
Previous experience in a similar position
