IT Service Designer/Service Architect

Role: IT Service Designer

Day rate: £650 Per Day (Inside IR35)

Duration: Initial 6 months

Location: Remote working with 1 day per week onsite in Warwickshire

We are currently recruiting for an accomplished IT Service Architect on a contract basis for a large scale financial services organisation based in the West Midlands.

We are looking for an experienced Architect/Service Designer who has detailed knowledge of defining and managing technology asset and configuration information for hardware, software, and services.

You will also have a thorough understanding of architecture and the classification of technologies to align with enterprise models and capabilities.

You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in IT architecture, with knowledge of Application Portfolio Management, IT Operations, Service Management, Security, systems, processes, and best practice whilst having a broad experience across all aspects of IT Infrastructure and service.

Skills, knowledge and experience required for the role:

  • Extensive experience in IT Service Management Architecture & Design
  • ServiceNow
  • Microsoft Service and Operations Solutions
  • Virtualization Technologies (e.g., VMWare / Nutanix)
  • ITIL

Deliverables:

Deliverable 1: Assessing impact of the Datacentre exit driven changes on existing ITIL v3 Processes & working across teams to advise on and design processes to support the future mode of operation

Deliverable 2: Reviewing and designing end to end services across multiple suppliers e.g. Patch Management

Deliverable 3: Working closely with tooling project to introduce new service management tooling and design associated processes

Deliverable 4: Creation of Service on a Page documentation through various transition states to ensure accountable parties are clear throughout
