Our client, a leading engineering company in the industry, is currently seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. Salary: £38K - £45K Annually

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise your expertise in rotating equipment to create reports on required repairs and produce relevant documentation for internal departments and customers.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments and suppliers to ensure all parts are available on time for workshop projects.
  • Support the Engineering Manager with additional tasks as needed, showcasing your versatility and willingness to contribute to the success of the team.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Use your knowledge of pump systems and testing methodologies to assist the service department with producing Bills of Material (BOMs) and establish cost estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Apprenticeship or degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with a solid understanding of reverse and mechanical engineering processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software and experience using an ERP system.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, allowing you to effectively manage your workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring clear and concise information is provided to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be responsible for producing accurate reports and inspection documentation.
  • A customer-focused attitude combined with the ability to solve problems and think critically.
